Norma Jeane Mortenson, better known by her stage name Marilyn Monroe, was an American film actress, one of the most popular of the 20th century, considered a pop icon and a sex symbol. He was born on June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles and died on August 5, 1962 in Brentwood (Los Angeles).
